DRUG RECOGNITION EXPERTISE 

David Roberts Consulting, LLC has professionals on staff that are certified Drug Recognition Experts through the International Association of Chiefs of Police, including the Drug Evaluation and Classification Program. This allows our professionals to investigate collisions involving the use of prescribed medication and illegal street drugs. Often time prescribed medication could have been taken prior to a collision event. Frequently some of these prescription medications are the same medications jurors take.  In situations like this, it is important to have an expert who can explain the signs and symptoms of someone who has taken that medication. This helps paint a picture of the impairment and how it would relate to a collision.
